Our Mission

SRI PURVA TIRUPATI BALAJI MANDIR, was established with the benign guidance and blessings of Jagadguru Sankaracharya Swamijis of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Kanchipuram in the year 1998 to usher in peace, welfare and prosperity in Assam and the entire North-East. The temple in South-Indian style with Sannadhis for Lord Balaji, Devi Padmavati, Durga Devi and Sri Ganesha was constructed with the support and participation of one and all.
Nurtured and guided by His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamiji, the Temple has become an important spiritual centre in the North-East. His Holiness also blessed the establishment of Sankardev Netralaya in Guwahati, providing much-needed medical service to the entire region.
